Cruise to Victoria - 2007
I won a cruise from Los Angeles to Vancouver on the Sapphire Princess, as a performance award, in 2007. The cruise stopped at Victoria, where I visited Butchart Gardens. This is beautifully landscaped and has lots of pretty flowers. In Victoria, I also visited Miniature World, which has over 80 miniature dioramas of cities, scenes from fairy tales and nursery rhymes, railroad, circus and doll house models etc. Another interesting site was the Craigdarroch Castle. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to go inside the castle, but I plan on doing that the next time I get a chance to go to Victoria.
