Hearst Castle - 1996
Hearst Castle is in San Simeon, California. This was once the home of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. This is also called the Enchanted Castle, and the Castle on a Hill. The rooms are furnished lavishly. It is said that Hearst would sometimes look at a catalog and simply note 'buy all' meaning buy everything in the catalog. The indoor and outdoor pools are beautiful.
