San Francisco - 1996
In 1996, I took a trip up the California coast, from Los Angeles to San Francisco. I drove along the Pacific Coast Highway, Highway 1. Along the way, I stopped at San Simeon, to see Hearst Castle. Those pictures are in the next post. I also stopped at Monterrey and Carmel. San Francisco is a very charming city with a lot of character. The steep streets were a challenge, since I drive a stick-shift, and it seems that there is a 'stop' sign at the top of each hill!. Lombard Street was cute and Alcatraz was very interesting.
